Whether you're gearing up for your first-ever move to the big city or just looking to escape your current roommate situation, you’re going to have to dive head first into the New York apartment hunt, which can be a daunting process even for seasoned veterans. Whether you're hunting from afar or just from your desk,  it can be tough to determine if what you see online is what you'll get.  Rental search site RentHop attempts to ease that problem by assigning a HopScore—a ranking of listings by quality—to each apartment to help you sort the winners from the losers. The higher the HopScore, the better the apartment likely is -- and the more likely it'll rent quickly. So if you see something you like, hop to it.
