OVERHEARD:

By Teri Karush Rogers| October 8, 2010 - 1:16PM

"There were so many bedbugs in my wall socket that when the exterminator fired his mystery poisons through the slats, dribbles of blood started pouring out," writes a Gawker commenter beneath a post-Waldorf-Astoria list of notable places invaded by bed bugs in NYC. Staring at the blood I asked the exterminator if life was getting darker or I was getting older. He said, 'Life is getting darker.'"
