Here are the NYC apartments for sale with the deepest price chops in November

This four bedroom, six bath on the Upper East Side made both lists for highest dollar and highest percentage price drops, with a $7,400,000, or 31 percent, price drop.

Manhattan sellers made fewer cuts to their listing prices in November compared to previous months, according to RealtyHop's monthly price drops report. 

The Upper East Side-Carnegie Hill saw the most price cuts with a total of 171, a steep drop compared to the previous month, when there were 224 price cuts. Turtle Bay-East Midtown, which was the top neighborhood in October with 259 cuts, saw only 159 price cuts in November. All of the other top neighborhoods were also in Manhattan.

In its monthly price drop report, RealtyHop identifies neighborhoods with the highest total number of price cuts. It also highlights areas with the biggest percentage drop in median price, and the biggest median dollar price drop.

The five apartments with the highest dollar price drop, and four of the five with the highest percentage price drop, were all on the Upper East Side. The apartment with the highest dollar price drop was a four-bedroom, six-bath co-op, which saw a $7,400,000, or 31 percent, price cut. The apartment also made the list of highest percentage price drops.

Top 5 NYC addresses with the biggest dollar price drop in November

1040 Fifth Ave., #13A, Upper East Side

This four bedroom, six bath saw a price drop of $7,400,000 to $16,500,000. The co-op has a private elevator landing, high ceilings, wood-burning fireplaces, oversized windows, walk-in closets, a chef's kitchen with Viking and Miele appliances, sound system, and security system. Amenities include a full-time doorman, elevator operator, concierge, and storage room.

995 Fifth Ave., #PH, Upper East Side 

This six bedroom, seven and a half bath saw a price drop of $5,000,000 to $50,000,000. The condo features 10-foot ceilings, wood-burning fireplaces, multiple private terraces, floor-to-ceiling windows, built-in bookshelves, stainless steel appliances, a Crestron smart-home system, laundry room, and study. Amenities include a doorman, gym, spa, and bike storage.

This five bedroom, six and a half bath saw a price drop of $3,000,000 to $15,000,000. The penthouse features a private elevator landing, six wood-burning fireplaces, multiple terraces and balconies, crown molding, French doors, built-in bookshelves, Sub-Zero and Viking appliances, a full-floor master suite, Miele washer/dryer, and storage unit. Amenities include a doorman, gym, and storage.

This three bedroom, three and a half bath saw a price drop of $2,750,000 to $8,750,000.
