Would you pay a higher rent to have your very own washer/dryer?

Streeteasy

This two-bedroom, one-bath apartment, 48-36 41st St., #2A, in Sunnyside, Queens, has a lot of amenities that are not always found in a rental but keep in mind, you're going to be paying more here than than other apartments in the neighborhood.

The apartment has an in-unit washer/dryer, central air conditioning, and a dishwasher. The renovated building has a communal courtyard and bike room—and there's only six units.

The apartment is listed at a net-effective rent of $2,750, with one month’s rent free—but that's not the rent you're actually on the hook for each month. You’re really paying $3,000 a month. That's a lot more than the median rent for two bedrooms in the neighborhood, which is $2,388, according to Streeteasy. The listing is also a no-fee apartment, so you're saving some money upfront.

The apartment is only a few blocks from the 7 line's 40th Street station, making a commute to Midtown Manhattan around 23 minutes.

The neighborhood has bars, restaurants, and shopping. There is a C-Town Supermarket only a three-minute walk away and a local pharmacy at the corner of the block. The apartment is only a 20 minute walk from the historic Sunnyside Gardens, one of the country’s first planned communities.
