As parts of Brooklyn continue to get exponentially more expensive, rents are rising in Queens, too, but the borough remains affordable relative to its neighbor to the south and west. Jackson Heights is a busy and bustling Queens neighborhood, a destination for food fans, and home to many different immigrant communities. It's also about a half-hour from Midtown by train.

If you have a family or a crew of roommates in need of space and that grabs your interest, here are five three bedrooms for rent in the area for under $3,200 a month.
