Nine discounted apartments are coming available in Bedford-Stuyvesant through the city's housing lottery.

The units are one bedrooms in a new, 44-unit building at 869 Park Ave. The lottery apartments are one bedrooms renting for $985 a month. They are set aside for single people making $33,772-$40,080 and two-person households making $33,772-$45,840. The remainder of the apartments are renting for market rates.

The building is described as having an elevator, a gym, and a laundry room. Gym access is subject to an additional fee. Listing photos also show a common backyard.

The building is a few doors down from Woodhull Hospital, and three blocks from the Flushing Avenue J, M, Z station.

If you're interested and think you might qualify, you can create a profile and apply online via NYC Housing Connect. Don't apply more than once, or you could be disqualified.
