Apply to rent a Brooklyn Heights apartment starting at $1,394 a month

Applications are open for 100 newly constructed apartments at 15 Bridge Park Drive in Brooklyn Heights through the city housing lottery.

The apartments are studios, one, two, and three bedrooms set aside for people in multiple income brackets spanning $47,795-$199,650 for one to six people. Rents start at $1,394 a month, for a studio. The units are for households earning from 80 percent to 165 percent of the area median income.

The smoke-free building is located at the southern entrance to Brooklyn Bridge Park, near Pier 6 just off Atlantic Avenue. Amenities include a partially attended lobby, a full-time resident manager, rooftop sun terrace, fitness center, and children’s playroom. On the building’s website, it also says there's a washer and dryer in every unit, contemporary kitchens with stone countertops and stainless steel appliances, bathrooms with custom vanities and stone accents, individual room controls for heating and air conditioning, and wide-plank wood flooring.

The building is located west of the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway. The nearest transit is the ferry terminal at Pier 6, which goes to Bay Ridge and Wall Street. The closest subways are the Borough Hall stops for the 2, 3, 4, and 5 trains, which are from eight to 10 blocks away.
