Apply to rent an apartment in the Bronx for as cheap as $718 a month

Applications are open for 76 discounted apartments in the Bronx through the city housing lottery.

The apartments are in a new building at 1180 Fulton Ave. in Morrisania. 

The units are one, two, and three bedrooms reserved for households making $27,085 - $53,350. The one bedrooms are set to rent for $718 a month.

The building is set to include 112 apartments in all, and is described as having a 24-hour attended lobby, an on-site manager, a terrace, a community room, and bike storage. it's about a mile from the 2 and 5 station at Prospect Avenue, and about a 15-minute walk from the Melrose Metro-North station.


If you're interested and think you might qualify for one of these buildings, you can create a profile and apply online via NYC Housing Connect. Don't apply more than once, or you could be disqualified.
