Applications have opened for five affordable rentals in a new construction East Harlem building, per a new listing posted on NYC Housing Connect.

The building, located at 219 Third Avenue, is offering up five $985/month one-bedrooms to renters who make 60 percent of the Area Median Income (AMI)—which means an annual income between $33,772 and $38,100 for a single renter, and between $33,772 and $43,500 for two people.

The building doesn't seem to have much in the way of amenities, as only a laundry room is listed. Per usual, preference for half of the affordable apartments will be given to current neighborhood residents, which in this case means residents of Manhattan's Community Board 11.

If you're interested and think you qualify, you can make a profile and apply online via NYC Housing Connect, or request a paper application by sending a self-addressed envelope to Raveh Realty LLC, 55 Northern Blvd. Suite 210, Great Neck, NY 11021. (Be sure not to apply more than once, or you could be disqualified.) Applications are due by March 2nd.
