Spot PS1 across the street.

Ah, the joys of being the first person to live in an apartment! Especially when you don't have to shell out millions of dollars to do it, and don't have to pay a fee. In fact, we can't get over how reasonably priced this $3,853 two-bedroom is, seeing as it's right across from PS1 in Long Island City (that rent is net effective, btw).

The building is brand new, with walls of windows (and views of Manhattan), Bosch appliances and stone countertops, and washers and dryers on each floor. There's also an HVAC central air system and white oak flooring in each apartment.

The 11-story, boxy building (at 2222 Jackson Avenue) has a triple-height lobby (with a doorman stationed inside). And fitness fanatics (or aspiring fitness fanatics) will appreciate an amenity club on the third floor with a fitness room, an indoor and skylit swimming pool with a landscaped terrace off the pool area, and a lounge with WiFi, televisions, and ping-pong. There's also valet parking, an on-site resident manager, and a roof deck.
