Applications are now open for 54 affordable rentals in 363 Bond Street, part of a new two-building luxury development along the Gowanus Canal, according to NYC Housing Connect. The apartments are a mix of $833/month studios, $895/month one-bedrooms, and $1,082/month two-bedrooms, for renters with annual household incomes between $29,897 and $54,360, depending on apartment and family size.

363 Bond was just built along with 365 Bond as part of a major development that includes a waterfront esplanade park, per the development's website. The project has picked up plenty of publicity, and when the lottery opened for the first building, Curbed reported that more than 56,000 applications flooded in.

According to the listing, amenities include a 24-hour attended lobby, in-unit washers and dryers, a gym and yoga room, a kids' room, and for extra fees, bike storage, a swimming pool, a resident lounge, shuffleboard, an outdoor deck, and barbecue grills.

As usual with this type of development, preference for half of the affordable apartments will be given to current area residents, which in this case means residents of Brooklyn's Community Board 6.

If you're interested and think you qualify, you can create a profile and apply online via NYC Housing Connect, or request a paper application by sending a self-addressed envelope to Fifth Avenue Committee-621 Degraw Street, Brooklyn, NY 11217.
