Parts of the L train will shut down on weeknights for the next three weeks

Consider it a practice run for the L-pocalypse: for the next three weeks, the L train won't be running anywhere between Williamsburg and Bushwick on weeknights.

Bushwick Daily spotted a Planned Service Changes flyer announcing the disruption, and the MTA's website confirms it: The L will be out of service between Lorimer and Broadway Junction between 10:30 pm and 5 am on weeknights this week, August 1 to August 5, and again on August 8 to 12, and August 15 to 19:

There are going to be shuttle buses in place, per usual, but maybe also a good time to experiment with a new cab app (or three)?
