Haworth, in New Jersey's Bergen County, is considered one of the best places to raise a family in the state because of its well-rated public schools, parks, and proximity to the city—making it a good place to consider if you’re interested in relocating your family to the suburbs.

You won’t find many chain stores or apartments in Haworth, what you will find are several small parks, two country clubs, golf courses, and locally-owned stores and restaurants. Some popular local spots include Terrace Street Cafe, Alessandro’s, Naturoll Sushi, and Andiamo. It’s also a quick drive to other New Jersey towns like Closter, where there is a Whole Foods and a Bareburger. And, it’s less than a 40-minute drive from Manhattan.

When it comes to the area’s real estate, you’ll certainly get more for your budget compared to NYC standards, but it’s a bit pricier than some other New Jersey suburbs with a median sales price of $853,000, according to Redfin. You’ll find many large Colonials and Tudors here and most houses have private backyards, home offices, finished basements, and parking space.

So, if Haworth sounds like a fit for you, here are five houses on the market including a three-bedroom Colonial and four-bedroom Tudor.
