It's the start of ski season at last, and New York City is within driving distance of one of the best ski spots in the country, the town of Killington, located deep in Vermont's Green Mountains. Killington's got some great local eateries, like The Lookout Tavern, which serves brews and pub grub, and popular brunch spot Back Country Café.
