Townhouse pick of the week

Will this freshly renovated Astoria townhouse get you to pack up and move to Queens?

It's rare to find NYC digs that combine suburban-style convenience with a location in an accessible, trendy location, but this Astoria townhouse nails the combination perfectly. The three-bedroom, two-bath home has undergone a full makeover, and looks to be an ideal fit for a young family that still wants access to the city.

The front of the house has a brick terrace with planters, and the inviting living room features large windows and plenty of natural light.

The kitchen, which features custom cabinets, Caesarstone counters, and stainless steel appliances, opens up into a spacious dining room, which in turn, opens up onto the backyard patio:

The bedrooms are all located upstairs, and though they look to be on the small-ish side, the listing notes "ample closet space":

The basement level features a full bathroom, storage, laundry, and a space that's currently set up as a play room. Perhaps most importantly, it's also where you get access to the home's full garage. (Imagine not having to deal with the hassle of alternate-side parking!)

The home has other modern touches throughout, including LED spotlight fixtures, an "integrated sound system with built-in speakers," and air-conditioners throughout. Not a bad setup, at least as far as we can tell (but of course you'd need to do your own due diligence if you're seriously considering it).
