This new condo in Greenwood, Brooklyn is pretty, and costs a pretty penny
Greenwood Heights, a.k.a. Greenwood, the hockey-stick-shaped neighborhood jammed between the Prospect Expressway, Green-Wood Cemetery, and the Gowanus Expressway, has been the site of a flurry of development recently.
A warehouse in the area was just listed for $20 million, and new apartment buildings are springing up, with ads touting their proximity to the the cemetery (go figure) and Prospect Park. The new buildings are a far cry from the humble, one- and two-family townhouses that are typical of the area. This one bedroom, one bath at 236 17th St., for instance, is in a new boutique condo building that is one block from the Prospect Avenue station (some might call this South Slope, another somewhat flexibly deployed neighborhood moniker).
Listed by Citi Habitats for $765,000, the apartment comes with high-end features and access to a bunch of amenities, including a pet grooming station, if your pet tolerates that sort of thing.
