New York City apartments with outdoor areas where kids can play are in high demand right now since Covid-19 has limited many outdoor summer camps and activities, and students will be learning from home for much of the week when the school year starts.

Right now, you can find a variety of places for sale that have private outdoor space with a playset or are in a building that has shared outdoor play equipment. If you want a house with a private backyard, you’ll have the most luck in Brooklyn and Queens. If you prefer apartment living, some co-ops and condos in Manhattan have courtyards with small playgrounds.

So if you have children and need outdoor play space for them to burn off their energy, here are five houses and apartments for sale that fit the bill in Marine Park, Cobble Hill, South Harlem, Lenox Hill, and Hell’s Kitchen.
