This two bedroom condo, 84 2nd Place #3 in Brooklyn's Carroll Gardens is on the market for $1,399,000. That's below the current median sales price of $1,614,500, for similar sized units in the neighborhood but above the price of the last unit to change hands in the building—that was an identical two bedroom that sold above asking for $1,310,000, in 2015. The unit is in a brownstone set back from the road with a large front yard. There are four units in the building, and it was converted, presumably from a single family home, in 2010.

As with buildings this size, shared amenities are few, but that keeps monthly carrying costs low. For this unit, you're looking at $192 per month for common charges and monthly taxes of $133.

The kitchen has a center island with lots of cabinetry and stainless steel Bosch and Frigidaire appliances. This unit also has a dishwasher next to the refrigerator.

Narrow plank hardwood floors are fitted throughout the unit. The living room has three windows and a small alcove area set up as a dining room. If you need space for a home office, this unit's layout could provide enough flexibility to offer that.

The master bedroom has access to a balcony. It also has an en suite bath and two closets.

The second bedroom has a built-in closet, and the window overlooks the balcony accessed by the master bedroom.

Both bathrooms have a similar aesthetic. One has a shower, the other has a tub with a showerhead. There's a washer/dryer between the kitchen and the bedrooms.

The spacious living room is the biggest plus for this unit. The nearest subway stop is Carroll Street, which is served by the F and G trains. There are several car shares and Citi Bike stations nearby.
