The townhouse is a two-family that's been renovated.

This six-bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom townhouse in Bedford-Stuyvesant has been renovated, but retains many of the turn-of-the-last-century elements that give it loads of charm. Built in 1899, 809 Halsey St. is listed for $2,149,000, and still has the original fireplaces and mantels, wood floors, moldings, and high ceilings.

There's also a very distinct bedroom in the house that features a coffered ceiling and detailed, dark woodwork, unlike the rest of the rooms in the photos provided.

The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, a bi-level island, and lots of cabinet space, as well as recessed lighting. You'll find recessed lighting throughout the townhouse.

The layout of the townhouse is unclear, because the listing lacks a floorplan, but the master bedroom is very large and includes a built-in, windowed seating area, making it very bright, and providing a view of Saratoga Park across the street.

The bathrooms are sleek and modern with goldtone hardware.

A balcony on the top floor gives tree-top views of the neighborhood.

The nearest subway is the J at Halsey, which is two blocks away; the A and C trains at Ralph Avenue are about 10 blocks away. Nearby spots of interest include Saraghinas, Bar Lunatico, Manny’s, L'Antagoniste, and MacDonough Café. According to neighborhood data website Localize.city, the area attracts flippers, indicated by high rates of turnaround in the area.
