Spread out and save in Bay Ridge.

Century 21

This renovated one-bedroom co-op in Bay Ridge has a classic feel. Listed for $379,000, 9201 Shore Rd. #B203 is across the street from Shore Road Park.

It features a kitchen with stainless-steel appliances, granite countertops, an island, and a glass tile backsplash.

The spacious living room has an open layout, and there are hardwood floors throughout the apartment. The listing says the bathroom has ceramic tile, but we don't get to see it.

The bedroom measures 11 by 20 feet, and has sizable, custom closets.

Additional upgrades to the apartment include new windows and custom radiator covers.

The building's lobby, hallways, and elevators are newly redone, according to the listing, and the co-op has a live-in super, two on-site laundry rooms, a 24-hour concierge, and bike storage.  No pets are allowed, but subletting is after one year.

An express bus stop is right outside the building. It's about 25 minutes to lower Manhattan in good traffic, and an hour to Midtown. The closest subway, the R at 95th Street, is six blocks away. Around there, on Third, Fourth, and Fifth avenues is also where you'll find lots of shops and restaurants.

Drivers will find the location, less than a mile from a Belt Parkway entrance and the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge, convenient.
