This Windsor Terrace townhouse is the perfect fit for a small family

Given its location just south of Park Slope (and just steps from Prospect Park), it's hardly surprising that Windsor Terrace has quickly developed a reputation as one of Brooklyn's most family-friendly neighborhoods. And this three-bedroom, $1.725 million single-family fits the bill perfectly, with a master suite, smaller rooms for the kids, and plenty of common spaces to convene.

Besides the kitchen, which has room for a dining table and leads to the back patio, the ground floor also includes a spacious living room, complete with exposed brick, and what looks to be built-in shelving. Downstairs, there's a finished basement (including a laundry room and "three-quarter" bath) offering multiple common areas, so everyone can entertain guests at the same time without overcrowding:

The lower level also leads out to the 970-square-foot landscaped backyard, which has a patio area:

On the light-filled upper levels, you'll find a master suite, two more bedrooms, and a full bathroom that includes a skylight:

The home has some practical appeal, as well, including a new roof, cellulose insulation to increase energy efficiency, and most enticingly, a recent $74,999 price chop.
