What you’ll get across NYC for $450,000

You're mostly looking at studios and one-bedroom co-ops in Manhattan and Brooklyn if you’re armed with a budget of $450,000. In Queens, the Bronx and Staten Island, though, you’ll find some pretty large houses, including one with six bedrooms.

RIVERDALE, BRONX: A three-bedroom, two-bath co-op with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and custom cabinets in the kitchen in a pet-friendly elevator building with a playground, playroom, and gym at 4525 Henry Hudson Parkway (between West 242nd and West 246th). $449,000 plus $1,380/month maintenance

TRAVIS, STATEN ISLAND: A three-bedroom, one-plus-bath semi-detached single-family with a finished basement and a yard with a hot tub and a shed at 51 Beresford Avenue (at Wild). $449,000
