Private parking sweetens an already sweet Brooklyn townhouse

This townhouse on Dean Street checks off many boxes a Brooklyn brownstone buyer would have on their list: prime location (between Boerum Hill and Park Slope), already converted into a one-family, and plenty of old-school appeal.

It has a large yard, too, with enough room for an al-fresco dining table and chairs, and has a sweet little gate at the entrance.

Old and new details both hold court: It has plaster moldings, fireplaces—we count six of them on the floorplan—and wooden floors, as well as modern conveniences like central air and a Jacuzzi tub. The renovated kitchen has both new appliances and period charm.

The bedrooms are plenty spacious, too.

But here's quite possibly the biggest perk: Look at the exterior photo above again and you'll notice a bonafide driveway, as well as a garage (!) that can be used as a studio.

It won't come cheap–Brown Harris Stevens, which has the listing, has priced it at $3.4 million. And it's on the narrow side—about 15 feet wide, judging from the floorplan. But worth a look, perhaps, for fulfilling that brownstone dream.
