In honor of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week (taking place now!), we’re dedicating this week’s Covet to apartments fit for (and in some cases in the same exact building as) our favorite New York City-based designers. While perusing the listings, make sure to imagine the spaces filled with furnishings—and a corresponding wardrobe—befitting each trendsetter’s unique style.

Ralph Lauren has multiple NY-area homes—including a an apartment in Manhattan, an estate in Bedford and a spread in Montauk—but we think he and his fab furnishings are a perfect fit for this 14,000-square-foot, seven-level Upper East Side limestone mansion at 57 East 64th Street. It's priced at $39.5 million and built in the French Gothic style with many architectural details preserved or restored.

Alexander Wang's favorite color palette for clothes is black, so it should come as no surprise that he decorated his 2500-plus square foot one bedroom, two bath Tribeca loft—with exposed brick walls, tin ceilings and mullioned windows—in black and white .(Think white walls, black velvet couch, black crocodile dining chairs—you get the picture.) For those with a penchant for all things Wang, this similarly-sized apartment at 77 Reade St.  (on the market for $2.875 million) could be made over in the same vein.

Tory Burch, whose lifestyle business is based on her own eclectic brand of personal style, calls a 10-room apartment at the legendary Pierre Hotel home. This neighboring pad in the same building at 795 Fifth Avenue (on sale for $29.9 million) is two rooms short, but still shares many similarities—including plenty of grand rooms that can be decorated in Burch-style with lots of color and pattern.

Diane von Furstenberg’s six-story live/work digs in the Meatpacking District include her design studio, flagship boutique and her own personal penthouse living quarters with an expansive roof deck with views to the High Line and the Hudson beyond. This nearby brownstone at 278 West 11th Street (yours for $28.9 million) has four floors, four bedrooms, four full and three half-baths, plus a stunning rooftop terrace that will make living la vida Furstenberg all the more authentic.
