Half a million: That's your budget, which, in this real estate market, either compromising on size, or neighborhood, or both. Here's what's on view this weekend in each of the five boroughs. 

225 Adams Street, Apartment 3G, Brooklyn Heights. This 600-square-foot one-bedroom co-op is in a building with a fitness center, shared roof deck, bicycle storage and parking. Asking price: $499,000. Open house: Sunday, August 9, 1 pm to 3 pm.
