Pining for a house in Brooklyn feels almost cliché. To which we say: So what? There’s a reason it’s become shorthand. But a house in Brooklyn for under two million? As it appears, not such a dream, after all. These properties are all hosting open houses this weekend, and with price tags that — by New York standards, anyway — don’t seem painfully out of reach.

505 Vandervoort Avenue, Greenpoint. A two-family currently used as a single-family with a deck that leads to a pretty yard, hardwood floors and a 1000-square-foot basement. Asking price: $1.199 million. Open house: Saturday, June 13, 1 pm to 2 pm and Sunday, June 14, 1 pm to 2 pm.

724 Macon Street, Bedford-Stuyvesant. A recurrent stop on the house tour circuit, this 2430-square-foot, 18-footer has period details galore, including exquisite wood mantels, moldings and wainscoting. Asking price: $1.299 million. Open house: Saturday, June 13, 3 pm to 4 pm and Sunday, June 14, 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

528 Madison Street, Stuyvesant Heights. This 3360-square-foot multi-family near Raymond Bush playground has an owner’s duplex and two other units that will be delivered vacant. Asking price: $1.45 million. Open house: Saturday, June 13, 12 noon to 2 pm.

349 Lincoln Road, Lefferts Gardens. This semi-detached, brick single-family has been gut-renovated and has three-bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms and a finished basement. Asking price: $1.599 million. Open house: Sunday, June 14, 11 am to 12 noon.

306 Lewis Avenue, Stuyvesant Heights. Original details — wood-and-brick fireplaces, paneled doors — abound in this three-family with a garden. Asking price: $1.89 million. Open house: Sunday, June 14, 1:30 pm to 2 pm; confirm by calling broker first.
