Double the luxury: 7 NYC homes with his-and-hers sinks

We've always been skeptical of pairs of double beds that couples share in old movies, but double sinks? Those seem ideal. We've combed the current listings for apartments on the market with his-and-hers (or his-and-his or hers-and-hers...) bathroom setups. Sometimes, sharing is overrated.

In this $2.25 million East Village condo, one of the two bathrooms includes a sleek, minimalist double sink on top of wooden storage space.

For $1.995 million, you can land a six-bedroom house in Prospect Park South that has not one, but two different bathrooms with double sinks. One is in a marble en-suite bathroom with a glass-enclosed shower (and views of the neighborhood)...

...and the other in a more basic (but equally sunny) one of the home's 3.5 total bathrooms.

The blue and green tiled backsplash is the real star of the master bathroom in this $1.825 million Lincoln Square condo, but the double sinks, soaking tub, glass-enclosed shower, and views of the city don't hurt, either.

While there's comparatively little counter space at the double sinks in this $6.995 million Upper West Side condo, the duplex apartment can make the rare claim that each of its four bedrooms includes an en-suite bathroom decked out in stone, marble, and glass.

The $13.5 million corner apartment at 28 Laight Street in Tribeca has been getting plenty of attention for an abundance of exposed wooden beams (and an asking price double what it was bought for just a few years ago), but we're more interested in the marble double sinks (and steam shower and Jacuzzi).

In this $8,825/month NoMad rental, a simple, black double vanity is the centerpiece of a Spartan (but spacious) bathroom.
