If the multi-level, outdoor-space adorned townhouse lifestyle appeals to you, join the crowd.  This week’s edition of StreetEasy’s Most Wanted -- the 10 sales listings saved more often than any others by StreetEasy users this week -- is overflowing with townhouses.

A $1.975m four-bedroom, three-bathroom two-family home on Fort Greene Place (between Hanson Place and Lafayette Avenue) in Fort Greene features an owner’s triplex and a rental garden floor-through above a full basement (though it can be reconverted into a single-family home). While the owner’s unit has been restored, the top floor remains unfinished, though it has insulation and plumbing. On the plus side, all mechanicals have been replaced or upgraded, so that means there’s new wiring, threaded brass plumbing throughout, a new roof surface, a new boiler, and the fireplaces have been relined.

Third Place and Court Street in Carroll Gardens is home to a $1.875m four-story brownstone with a five-bedroom, four-bathroom unit that has the potential for rental income. The space is currently configured as an owner’s lower two-bedroom, two-bathroom duplex with a south-facing yard and a three-bedroom, two-bath upper duplex, though it can be converted back to a one-family home if the Mertz-Ricardo landlord-tenant dynamic isn’t in the cards for you.

Over in Brooklyn Heights is a $1.15m two-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bath three-story townhouse condo with its own private front entrance and a private terrace off the back bedroom. Located on Henry Street and Atlantic Avenue, the lower level has a media room with built-in seating, a home office area so you don’t have to trek into your Manhattan office every day, and a Whirlpool W/D to make laundry day a breeze.

Finally, if you’re eyeing the townhouse lifestyle in Manhattan but can't quite afford to buy an entire brownstone, check out this sweet little $1.195m two-bedroom, one-bath co-op in Chelsea on West 20th Street between Eighth and Ninth Avenues. This floor-through apartment is located in a self-managed, five-unit 19th century townhouse with two fireplaces and exposed brick. The cook’s kitchen has been renovated and features a  SubZero fridge, Bosch dishwasher and Caesarstone counters. The fireplace in the master bedroom is flanked by floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, and there’s through-wall a/c. It’s one flight up.
