If you can’t resist the charm of pre-war (we don't blame you) take notes on this edition of StreetEasy’s Most Wanted -- the 10 sales listing folks perusing StreetEasy saved more often than any others this week.

Pre-war details are at the center of a $599k junior one-bedroom, one-bath co-op on Charles Street in West Village. The walk-up features wood beams on the ceilings, exposed brick and a decorative fireplace. Rustic hardwood floors add to the charm of the unit, which overlooks a courtyard garden and carriage house. Located between Waverly Place and Greenwich Avenue, the building is a few blocks from the 1, 2, 3, 9, A, B, C, D, E and F trains.  Maintenance is just $635/month.

On the Upper West Side, a $2.5m three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath co-op on West 77th between Central Park West and Columbus, in a pre-war doorman building, has high beamed ceilings, original hardwood floors, moldings and a decorative fireplace. Old world meets new with a built-in music/speaker system. The kitchen has been combined with the maid’s room and includes two windows, an eat-in area and an office nook, not to mention a W/D. The views are unique -- three major rooms face the American Museum of Natural History and you can watch the Thanksgiving Day Parade from six windows.

A $999k prewar one-bedroom, one-bath condo loft with an internal second 'bedroom' on East 22nd Street between First and Second Avenues has a wood-burning fireplace to make the space cozy. Plus, exposed brick, restored wood beams and a barn-style door add character. Oversized windows let natural light into the renovated apartment, which also features central a/c and a W/D. The building allows pets, investors, guarantors and pied-a-terres. One downside is there’s no doorman, but monthlies on the lower side (common charges $513, taxes $864).
