If you’re looking for an apartment in which to raise a family, take notes on this edition of the Open House Scorecard. The 10 apartments that StreetEasy users saved to their open-house calendars more often than any others this weekend are located in neighborhoods with lots of conveniences for kids and parents alike.

In the heart of the Upper West Side is a $985k two-bedroom 2-bath 14th floor co-op with a split bedroom layout. Located on Broadway and West 76th, the building is around the corner from Fairway, Citarella, the Equinox (so you can work off all the calories you’ve been consuming in the nearby eateries) and express train transportation (in 72nd Street). The building itself has a new lobby, laundry on every floor and a live-in super.  Possible caveat: The curtains are pulled closed in every shot, so there could be an issue with the view.

One block west of Broadway, on West 86th and West End in the undeniably neighborhood-y UWS, shopping, restaurants, direct subways and cross-town buses are all within reach of a $1.1m two-bedroom 1.5 bath co-op. It’s also steps from the gardens, promenades, playgrounds and dog runs of Riverside Park. In this pet-friendly building, there are just two apartments per floor, and the unit itself can be converted to a three-bedroom.

A $975k two-bedroom co-op located on West 68th Street between Central Park West and Columbus is in Lincoln Square, an area flush with restaurants, food shops, movie theaters, boutiques, subways and cross-town buses (not to mention the Time Warner Center). It’s also, obviously, near Lincoln Center. The building itself is on a park block, offers a roof terrace, gym, playroom, storage and a live-in super.

Over in Brooklyn's ultra-family-friendly neighborhood Park Slope, on 17th Street between Seventh and Eighth Avenues, a two-bedroom, two-bath condo on the market for $725k. The duplex apartment is near Prospect Park, the F train and Seventh Avenue's shops and restaurants. There's a washer/dryer, garage, garden, and the kitchen and one full bath have both been renovated. Ther's also a cool, unusual perk:  sound-proof recording studio downstairs that can be converted into a den or guest room.
