The StreetEasy Hot Dozen: 12 rentals that may or may not be available by the time you read this
Has all of Manhattan just gotten a raise? Six apartments with a rent of $7,000 are at the top of this week's Hot Dozen, meaning more StreetEasy.com visitors clicked on these rental listings over the past seven days than any others.
These apartments are moving fast and in some cases are gone already.
A one-bedroom apartment located at 721 5th Avenue in Trump Tower is listed at $7,000/month. The apartment comes with Central Park views and is spacious, but it's certainly a lot to spend on a one-bedroom. (By comparison, you can get a decent, no-fee one-bedroom at 221 West 28th Street in Chelsea for only $1,850--the catch being that it's a 5th floor walk-up.)
A two-bedroom condominium at 247 West 46th Street also comes in at $7,000/month. It's not far from Trump Tower and you get an extra bedroom for the same price--minus the Central Park views. Luxurious amenities and floor-to-ceiling windows are enough to make anyone drool over the residence, but you may not want to live a few blocks from Times Square.
Up on 545 West End Avenue on the Upper West Side is a three-bedroom apartment also going for $7,000/month. The 1,500 square foot unit is in a pre-war co-op with an extra large living room from which you could possibly create a fourth bedroom, making this apartment perfect for a family that doesn’t want to move out to the suburbs.
