No-Fee Apartment of the Week: $4,200 three-bedroom on the Upper East Side

This $4,200 Upper East Side three-bedroom, is located at 344 East 85th Street, between First and Second avenues. The building is about two blocks away from the new Upper East Side Fairway, a block away from the commercial epicenter that is 86th street, and just about five blocks from the 4, 5 and 6 train station at 86th and Lexington.

The building is six stories and has an elevator.

Pros: Along with that washer-dryer, the apartment has a dishwasher and is recently renovated. Appliances are stainless steel. Each room has exposed brick.

Cons: The building doesn't have a doorman. One of the bedrooms looks as thought it was made by dividing the living room into two rooms with a temporary wall (with French doors). There's no separate kitchen, and appliances and countertops are all along one wall.
