The StreetEasy Hot Dozen: 12 rentals that may or may not be available by the time you read this

Sunlight, an amenity in New York apartments, becomes all the more valuable as the hours of daylight dwindle. This week's batch of most-clicked apartment listings on—The Hot Dozen—has a nice selection of bright apartments to pull you from your dark winter doldrums.

First up: a furnished studio sublet near South Street Seaport. The apartment, available through February 20 for $1,995/month, has views of the river and access to an indoor pool.

In Greenwich Village, this 3-bedroom duplex penthouse has "massive skylights," 20-foot ceilings and walls of windows. But be advised: The place has had bed bugs. (Gotta give credit for honesty!)

If you're not discouraged by the reminder that there are bed bugs in the world, click through the other listings and if you need a hand, ask our own BrickUnderground Agent Referral Service to recommend a great agent to guide you through your search.
