NYC renters, aspiring renters and real estate obsessives take note: On Wednesday, July 20th from 8:30 a.m.-10:00 a.m., BrickUnderground kicks off a new monthly Meetup series, taking a mixer-style approach to our first, seasonally appropriate topic: Renting in NYC.

We're keeping things pretty simple for our maiden gathering: Take some smart, interesting people with their fingers on the pulse of the NYC renter experience, put them in the same room as a bunch of folks with questions about renting in NYC, add caffeine, and commence mingling.

BrickUnderground's founder and editor, yours truly, will host.  Guest minglers include:

Early bird bonus: Our sponsor, Insurent Lease Guaranty, will ensure that the first 50 arrivals get a free beverage of their choice. An Insurent rep will also be on hand to explain your options if the landlord demands a Tri-State guarantor but you're fresh out of well-off Connecticut relatives.

The Flatiron coffee bar we've staked out for our first Meetup can only hold a limited number of people, so click over to our new Meetup page to save your spot. Meetup topics will change each month so even if renting isn't your thing, be sure to join BrickUnderground's Meetup group to stay in the loop.

Hope to see you there. :)
