Another Twittering doorman, but this time he's ours.

After blogging anonymously on BrickUnderground for over a year now, our very own Openthedoor-man has begun musing aloud on Twitter (@openthatdoorman).  Some excerpts:

  • Just heard the same old story from a broker. Let them know about any apartments and they will hook it up. His nose was growing as he spoke.
  • A resident walks into a building followed by an Oriental man. Resident: You have to get buzzed in for deliveries. Oriental man: I live here.
  • Does having someone help you suddenly make one Snapple bottle weigh eight hundred pounds?
  • I want my book to get published so that I can make it to Oprah and cry on her show.

But isn't he worried about suffering the same mysterious but presumably unhappy fate as his Twittering predecessor? (FYI, it was Openthedoor-man's comment to a post about the original Twittering doorman that caught our attention and landed him his current gig on BrickUnderground.)

"As of right now. I'm not really tweeting about specific events that have unfolded right there and then," he tells us. "Maybe a couple of things but still not being that obvious. Again, that's where I think the [original] Twittering doorman messed up."
