As we noted yesterday, we've seen more concessions have creep stealthily onto the market lately. Here are a few of the more interesting ones we spotted this week:

  • At 160 West 97th Street, part of Stonehenge Village (three connected buildings on West 96th and 97th Streets between Columbus and Amsterdam Avenues), a renovated three-bedroom, two-bathroom unit is currently available with one month's free rent, bringing the new net effective rent to $4,763. The building has been recently renovated has a doorman and live-in super. Parking is available and pets are allowed.
  • The Siderow Organization is offering one month free rent on all 12-month leases with an immediate move-in date. This pre-war one-bedroom at 30 East 68th Street, a prime location between Madison and Park Avenues, is one of their available properties. Fully renovated, it is now available for a net effective rent of $3,595. This building also has a doorman, live-in super and allows pets.
  • 97 Stagg Street, a new building in Williamsburg, has six two-bedroom, two-bathroom units available, and is offering one month free rent. The units have hardwood floors, granite countertops, balconies. The pet-friendly building offers on-site parking and storage rooms. The next effective rents range from $2,308-2,585.

Concession Alert! rounds up some of the latest rental concessions offered by NYC landlords. But it's not the only place to find deals. To search for rental concessions on StreetEasy.com, click on "advanced search," check the box "description includes" and type in the words "free rent." We also recommend you check out the concession list on no-fee rental website UrbanEdgeny.com.  For tips on how to find a no-fee apartment, check out our Guerrilla Guide series.
