If you're hoping for views, this probably isn't the apartment for you. (It is on the first floor of a nine-unit building, after all.) But if you're looking for charming and quaint, and surprisingly affordable, this might be for you. At $610,000, this converted two-bedroom is asking less than the median price for a one-bedroom in the area. And it's in prime Brooklyn Heights at 299 Henry Street.

We're also loving the renovations. The sleek and adorable kitchen has Caesarstone countertops, a five-burner convection oven, subway tile, a dishwasher, and a custom pantry.

The large bedroom fits a queen-sized bed, and the bonus room can accommodate a nursery, office or den. (Note: there's no window, so it's technically not a bedroom.) The prewar apartment has original hardwood floors, nine-foot ceilings, pocket doors, and casement windows—all highly covetable perks from that era.

The building has a newly renovated entrance and stairs, and a common roof deck with views of Manhattan, the Statue of Liberty and the Freedom Tower. It's pet-friendly, has bike storage, common laundry and storage in the basement.

And at $595 per month, maintenance is rather low.
