sidewalk repairs

I am having an incredibly hard time finding a reliable and normal person to repair a sidewalk. I have had 5 bids on the sidewalk with very varying prices. I finally thought I found someone reasonable when he changed the price on me the last minute for no good reason. I am really getting fed up with unethical and unreliable contractors. Does anyone know of a decent contractor who works on sidewalks?
