and hums a lot.  The talking is sort of a narration of what's going on like "oh the clothes are still wet" and "got to get the garbage downstairs." She's not crazy it's just something she's started to do more and more over the past year. But I work from home, so it's kind of annoying.  What do I say exactly, like, "Hey, could you please stop talking to yourself?"  Awkward.
