A new family moved onto my floor this winter and our shared hallway frequently reeks of whatever they're cooking, which unfortunately seems to include lots of fish and broccoli. The smell is so strong that it leaks into my foyer--I had to move my coatrack into the living room to keep my coats and scarves from smelling like their dinner. Is there anything I can do about this? I know that the kitchens in that line have a window so it's not like they're cooking without any ventilation. Unless of course they're not opening the window. Does anyone have some advice?
