Yes, I know that their advice is meant for a national audience of overwhelmingly single family home dwellers and "New York is different". But their advice, that it really depends on your time frame and current economic situation--i.e. for some people owning isn't an option and shouldn't be--seems to ring true even in the Vertical Village.
