Looking for a bigger place
posted by Sally on May 18th, 2009 in Buying & Selling
We have one child, and are living in a one bedroom with the baby sleeping in part of the living room, with a partition. We were shown a two bedroom that we liked, but the second bedroom is very small. We're planning to have another child within a couple of years. Would it be a mistake to buy the one we saw? We have no idea if a bigger place will be out of our price range in a couple of years (don't know where things are going) but we can't afford a much bigger place now. Would it be better to wait to see about getting a bigger one when prices come down? Or are we crazy not to grab this two-bedroom place now?
No idea how to predict, and are afraid to be stuck in this place or a place that is bigger but still not big enough.
