A two-bedroom condo with Central Park views, amenities galore--and a president-elect just down the road

This two-bedroom condo seems to deliver the full luxury package: Its high floor position means it's flooded with light, and is graced with Central Park views. The 2,200-square-foot apartment delivers plenty of room to breathe, and a recent renovation brought in some smart home features and brand new appliances. Plus, the building boasts amenities that include an indoor pool and roof deck, to get an even better perspective on those park vistas.

One caveat: The condo is on West 57th Street—aka Billionaire's Row—and is less than two blocks from the home of the president-elect. Trump Tower has lately been swarming with reporters, protestors, security, and regular old gawkers. It's up to you whether the pluses of this apartment—listed for $4.85 million by Douglas Elliman—outweigh the potential for traffic and crowd hassles.

You'll enter a foyer and continue to the living area, which has an unusual triangular shape that allows for multiple perspectives through the north- and south-facing windows. (It also creates a sunny reading nook from which to gaze upon the park.) The separate kitchen isn't pictured here, but the listing touts its upscale appliances; off the living room, you'll find a cozy den, designed with a stylish and contemporary take on wood paneling.

The bright master bedroom is unusually spacious, and comes with multiple closets, including a walk-in and attached dressing area. Its sleek en-suite bath is a highlight of the home, roomy with luxe fixtures, marble counters, two sinks, and a separate shower and windowed bathtub.

The second bedroom includes convenient built-in cabinetry and a desk, as well as its own full bathroom; there's also an additional half-bath in the hallway, and plentiful closet space throughout the apartment.

The property itself, as befits Billionaire's Row, offers extensive amenities, including full-time doorman service, a concierge and live-in super, a newly renovated gym and spa, on-site parking, and even a residents-only restaurant, adding up to a sanctuary from all the political bustle outside.
