An indoor-outdoor living experience in this Tribeca condo

This Chambers Street condo isn't particularly spacious, but its size is nearly doubled when you take into account the massive private terrace. Even better, there's little maintenance to be done on the wraparound outdoor space—it comes already landscaped and furnished. The $3.8 million price tag for the unit, which is listed with Douglas Elliman, is a touch high for a two-bedroom even in this glitziest of Manhattan neighborhoods, but take into account the summer sunbathing and entertaining potential and it makes more sense.

The interior design makes the most of the adjacent terrace, with floor-to-ceiling windows in the corner living and dining area that bring in natural light and provide city views. Glossy stone floors throughout the space enhance its brightness, and the recently renovated kitchen, with its cool blue and gray color scheme, looks particularly sleek. And off the foyer, you'll find a laundry room with washer and dryer.

The master bedroom comes with expansive views, as well as a walk-in closet, additional built-in storage, and en-suite bath. (Don't worry—motorized black-out shades mean that your sleep won't be interrupted by the window exposures.) The bathroom has a marble vanity with double sinks, plus a separate shower and soaking tub. There's an additional bathroom off the living room, as well as a second, smaller bedroom that isn't pictured in the listing; note from the floorplan that it appears to lack closets, so you may want to convert it to an office (or buy a big armoire).

The private terrace is undoubtedly the standout here, primed for a sizable summer party. Impress your guests further by taking them to the building's indoor pool, illuminated by a skylight; other amenities include doorman and concierge service, a gym, and more outdoor spaces in a rooftop terrace and courtyard complete with a waterfall. It's enough to keep a New Yorker in the city, even on a summer weekend.
