Whether you're dying to get on the slopes before the winter's over or, on the flip side, are dreaming of the warm summer months already, you may want to consider booking this $200/night log cabin in Vermont for whiling away your vacation days.

While this rental is 15 minutes from Okemo Mountain Resort, a particularly family friendly ski destination, it's also close to several summer sleepaway camps popular with New York City kids, which means you could drop kids off and a have a quick getaway at this house afterward. (Or maybe include them before or after camp.)

The house has three bedrooms and one-and-a-half baths (it sleeps 8), a front porch and sits on four private acres. There's also high-speed wifi—in case you have to work (but perhaps you should consider a true break).

The kitchen comes with utensils, dishes, pots and pans, a microwave and dishwasher.

The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, a wifi enabled flat-screen TV (there's Dish Network and HBO in the house) and a sitting area, the second bedroom has a queen bed and wifi-enabled TV. The third bedroom  has a bunk bed for kids.
