This over-1,100-square-foot two-bedroom condo  (which was converted into a one-bedroom) is in the heart of Long Island City and features a gianormous terrace.

Pros: A 1,100-square-foot wraparound terrace comes fully furnished with a six-seat teak dining table, teak flooring, and a zen garden waterfall and various restful-sounding plantings The master bedroom has his & her customized closets. There are automated shades on all windows and an oversized laundry room. The building is stocked with amenities.

Cons: Terrace aside, the rental price is high for the apartment's current configuration as a one-bedroom. To become a two bedroom again, a wall would have to be installed.
