This week's Hot Dozen—the 12 most heavily-trafficked rental listings on real-estate site  Streeteasy.com—has a few ads that require a close read.

On West 48th Street, a  1-bedroom is on the market for just $1,500/month. The apartment comes with hardwood floors, a bright kitchen and income requirements that could bar you from snatching this one up. (If you do make less than $32,400 a year, you might want to check this one out!)

$2,750/month 3-bedroom in Clinton is "crystal clear" about being a true 3-bedroom, which is remarkable considering the price. But (always a but!) each room is tiny and would require quite the imaginative decorator.
