Teri Karush Rogers is a former contributor to the The New York Times' real estate section, where she wrote more than 60 cover stories about New York City real estate trends and apartment-dweller zeitgeist. She launched BrickUnderground in May 2009 from her Upper West Side co-op. Nearly 4,000 posts later, the site has grown into New York City's richest repository of practical real estate advice and firsthand experience, touching on everything from how to find a good real estate agent, to how much to tip the building staff, how to banish bed bugs, and how to survive a co-op board interview.

She is a journalism and law school graduate of New York University.
