What you’ll get across NYC for $250,000

Hitting the NYC sales market with a $250,000 budget? Believe it or not you'll find something in every borough (yes, even Manhattan). Most of the apartments available in the city this week are one-bedroom co-ops like the one above, but as you head into the outer boroughs, you’ll find some two-bedrooms and even a five-bedroom house (!). 

HUDSON HEIGHTS, MANHATTAN: A one-bath studio co-op in a part-time doorman building with a common garden at 350 Cabrini Boulevard (at West 187th). $250,000 plus $404/mo maintenance

HAMILTON HEIGHTS, MANHATTAN: A one-bedroom, one-bath co-op with a terrace in a landmark building at 409 Edgecombe Avenue (at Saint Nicholas). $250,000 plus $698/mo maintenance

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, MANHATTAN: A gut-renovated one-bedroom, one-bath co-op at 544 West 157th Street (between Broadway and Amsterdam). $249,000 plus $490/mo maintenance
